Medals in Florida for the Youth and Cadet team!

48 teams from 5 Nations battled in the 10th annual South Florida International.

Cadets.... Bronze beating NAVY 10-5

Youth... Silver! vs the Hungarian team FTC 12- 9. This is our best placing ever in this tournament!

Valentine Open in Victoria Congratulations to our Torpedo Bantam winning Bronze vs Neptunes 10-6 and our Atom team taking 4th in a game vs WILD 10-6

NDPL February 10, 11, & 12

Big week end at the Talisman with 6 teams: DDO, CAMO, Pacific Storm, Team Sask, York, and our Torpedoes! Come one, come all and cheer on our Torpedoes. They are undefeated! NDPL in Medicine Hat Feb 4th and 5th

Torpedoes vs Sask

Game 1 Win 18-15

Scoring for Torpedoes: Devon and Paul with 4, Nikola, Oscar and Lazar with 3 each, Dylan adding a single. Slight defensive breakdown with Team Sask scoring 7 goals in the last quarter.

Game 2 Win 18-7

Scoring for Torpedoes: Nikola with 5, Paul with 4, Lazar adding 3, Bryce, Devon and Trevor adding 2 each. Interesting game: a Torpedo first with 4 of our players in the sin bin at one time.

Torpedoes vs Storm

Game 1 win 18-15

Leading the Torpedoes was David Lapins with an impressive 7 goals. Devon, Bryce, Lazar and Dylan with 2 goals each. Singles coming from Marek, Nikola and Trevor.

Game 2 win 20 to 14

David and Nikola scoring 4 each, Lazar and Bryce with 3 goals each, Devon and Dylan with 2, Oscar and Chris with singles.

Of note was that this was the first game under the new rules that the Torpedoes did not have a player ejected from the game!
