Schedule Changes

Atom/Bantam Enhanced Sunday training time is changed to 5:00-6:30 pm.

Atom/Bantam Enhanced second training time is Thursday night 8:00-9:00 pm.

Cadet-Youth practice time change on Tuesday night to 6:30-8:00 pm.

Pacific Storm vs Calgary Torpedo’s and Renegades

In short – this was another awesome training weekend – all the coaches came away with a much better understanding of where we are as teams and individual players. Storm provide a worthy , competitive opponent well trained and very talented.

This was our best dual meet ever with Storm (having done this trip for about 5 years now) . It is the first time all four of our teams came out on top of the scrimmages .

Renegade Cadets vs Storm

These young girls really showed up to play with a full squad and early season eagerness to teats themselves against the defending National Champions!! The Cadets won all three training games usually by a margin of 4 or more goals . Storm strongest payers were neutralized and – surprising everyone we had excellent goaltending using a rotation system of quality athletes who can play anywhere. The experience from last year and the hard work of the youngest members bods well for the remainder of this very ambitious season – with two more events in November !! Great job ladies .

Renegade Youth vs Storm

Our Renegade defending National Champions! – showed they still have more to prove and played many quality minutes while integrating many Cadets into Youth play. Renegades used at least 5 different players at centre and this confused Storm – our very experienced Youth could also play multiple defences making them at least 1 step ahead tactically and very advanced for so early in the season. The work ethic of this group is extraordinary and sets a very high bar that all the Renegade girls are eager to challenge – Next up the very highly regarded Valley Girls with 4 or 5 of their own Pan American Gold medallists and they are quick to note the Calgary Renegades are on top of their hit list!!
