Born in Calgary in 1954 an original Calgary Water Polo player- started playing at the Calgary Central YMCA in 1971 under Ivan Somlai.

Married to Heather with three daughters Julie Kira and Emily

A Junior High School teacher from 1979-1999 - coached City and Division Champions in Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball, Wrestling , Badminton and Track and Field.

NCCP Level 4 Coach Certified

Currently still an active player with the Calgary Masters and a 40+ National Champion. Competed in 4 Masters World Championships (Montreal 1994, San Francisco 2006, Perth 2008 , Sweden 2010 )
